Engelson’s producing career includes the current series, SNOWFALL on FX, which just got picked up for its sixth season, the TV adaptation of HEATHERS for Paramount+, the Olympic sports docuseries DREAM TEAM which was released on Paramount+ last year, the Emmy®-nominated documentary special LA BURNING: 25 Years After The LA Riots for A&E, the feature music driven documentary GIVE ME FUTURE which Apple bought and released after its premiere at Sundance.
On the movie side, he produced the comedy THE AFTER PARTY for Netflix. He previously produced the Warner Bros. comedy LICENSE TO WED starring Robin Williams, John Krasinski and Mandy Moore; Fox’s ALL ABOUT STEVE starring Sandra Bullock and Bradley Cooper; Lions Gate’s REMEMBER ME starring Robert Pattinson and Pierce Bronsan, Blumhouse and Universal’s INCARNATE starring Aaron Eckhart, and a number of others including SMALL ENGINE REPAIR starring Jon Bernthal and the upcoming film DRAGON’S LAIR starring Ryan Reynolds for Netflix.
He is married to his wife Tracey and has two young daughters.

Josh Turner McGuire

Josh Turner McGuire fell in love with movies and the filmmakers behind them as a child watching INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE in his small hometown of Sparta, NJ. After graduating from Florida State University with dual degrees in Economics and Political Science, Josh moved to Los Angeles and dove headfirst into a ‘real-world film school’ by working on-set for several independent films and learning every aspect of production & post-production.
Josh quickly discovered his passion for championing creators and helping them deftly navigate the opportunities and risks of the entertainment industry. After developing a working relationship with writers and filmmakers as an assistant, Josh naturally segued into a career in representation. He began working as a literary manager and producer at Underground in 2008, where he is now a partner working across film, TV, books, IP & audio with a diverse client list of both established & emerging showrunners, writers, directors, novelists and comedians.
As a literary manager, Josh is known for helping clients leverage their unique voices, realize their creative visions and build their careers, as well as for his strong creative instincts and taste. He believes that a manager and producer should be a true creative partner in a business that requires constant innovation and adaptation to an ever-changing landscape. Whether helping clients bring their work to the screen, the New York Times and New Yorker ‘best of’ lists, or The Blacklist, Josh’s proudest moments are always when his clients feel supported, empowered & fulfilled.
As a producer, McGuire is in prep for THE BM, an action comedy being directed by Rachel Goldberg (Upcoming Marvel Series for Disney+, Netflix’s RESIDENT EVIL) for Mar Vista Entertainment. Client Jason Micallef's GROUND CONTROL TO MAJOR TOM, which will be directed by HORRIBLE BOSSES’ Seth Gordon. Client Sascha Rothchild’s adaptation of her New York Times “Best of 2022” novel BLOOD SUGAR. The upcoming TV adaptation of the medical cult classic novel THE HOUSE OF GOD being written by showrunner Roberto Benabib (THE BRINK, WEEDS) for MGM. The film and TV adaptations of New York Times best selling author Neal Shusterman’s books including DRY for Paramount, the upcoming series GAME CHANGER with Brian Yorkey and Neal Shusterman adapting for Netflix, the film adaptation of the National Book Award winning CHALLENGER DEEP written by Academy Award winning writer Will McCormack, the film adaptions of the ARC OF THE SCYTHE novels for Universal and Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment. And, most recently, a film adaption of the Parker Brothers board game 13 DEAD END DRIVE with Dwayne Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions.
Previous credits include the TV adaptation of HEATHERS for the Paramount TV Network hailed as “Jason Micallef’s pop-surrealist masterpiece” by The New Yorker, and Blumhouse’s INCARNATE starring Aaron Eckhart for Universal.
Josh has been invited to speak at USC, UCLA, The New York Film Academy, and the CBS Diversity Writers Program. In his free time, he has licensed as a pilot and advanced scuba diver and competing in endurance events like Ironman 70.3, the NYC marathon and the Malibu triathlon.

Diego Rey is an entertainment manager and producer from Texas. After living on a couch and working as a barista, he landed a job in the Management 360 mailroom where he stayed until making his way to Underground. Rey will represent a wide range of creatives and produce alongside the company. He has a diverse roster of creatives and is passionate about amplifying unrepresented voices.
