The results of the 2014 Royal Television Society Awards are now known.

The winners were announced at the Grosvenor House Hotel in central London tonight (Tuesday 18th March) during a ceremony hosted by Tim Vine.

The winners in the comedy-related categories were Alan Carr; Mrs Brown’s Boys star Brendan O’Carroll; Channel 4‘s hit comedy show The Last Leg, which stars Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker (pictured); ITV2 sitcom Plebs; and the writing team of The Wrong Mans – James Corden, Mathew Baynton and Tom Basden.
